Eleanor Jean Baumstark, 88, a lifelong Armada Township resident, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at Romeo Nursing Center.
She was born March 29, 1916, in Armada Township, the daughter of Harvey L. and Ella G. (Wood) Adams.
She was a bank officer and assistant cashier for the Armada State Bank and First National Bank in Macomb County for nearly 40 years. She was a member of the Berville Lioness Club and was named Armada Citizen of the Year by the Armada Fair Board and was the bookkeeper for the Armada Livestock Sale for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Weintraub of South Haven and Brenda (Mike) Barber of Attica; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Adams.
